Today is the opening day of "trophy" rockfish (Striped Bass) season. On a good day, I might excuse myself from the walk and try to catch the first keeper rockfish. However, we have a storm on the way, 20-30 mph winds from the south, and lots of rain in the forecast, so we did a quick walk just before the arrival of the storm.

I only saw one fisherman (or fisherwoman) out trying to catch fish, and he or she wasn't having much luck:
