Beach Report 11/28/25

Cold and windy! Struggling to reach 40 F, with a 20 - 30 kt wind (although it had calmed a bit by time of these pictures). 






And a very low tide. 


Not the most productive day for fossils, there was too much sand and not enough gravel, but I did find this odd little tooth. I'm going to hazard a guess it's a smaller Mako or Hastalis shark, that still has some small cusplets. 
And the verdict from the pros is in via Facebook: Striatolamia striata, an extinct sand tiger shark from an older, Eocene, sediments.
