Beach Report 11/7/23

Skye and I were on our own today. The water was high, even as the tide was most of the way down nominally. A very warm November day, 75, all but windless, and mostly overcast.

Not the most productive day for fossils, 7 teeth and a crab claw.

I spotted this one about to go over the edge and get buried even as I tried to get the phone out to take a picture. 

A fine upper Snaggletooth, 1 5/16 inches long. Not a record, but a very pretty tooth.
