A tough day at the beach. Low 40's, partly cloudy with an obnoxious 20 kt wind coming down from the NNW
There was a huge new fall of cliff up near the top of the Matoaka stretch since we walked yesterday. It looks like about 25 feet of cliff, several feet thick sheered off, and fell onto older boulders, which kept it from spilling out on the beach. Look at the sharp edges on the new boulders.After a years weathering or so they'll look this this.
A terrible day for fossil hunting. Only 3 teeth!
