Or at least the pearl. A cool and grumbly day; this pic is from a few days ago, but it catches the spirit, although there's no blue between the clouds today.
Georgia smoked me on fossils today with this Geoduck clam pearl. To be fair, we never heard of them before last week (although we're both convinced we've seen them). She also got the most and best shark's teeth, including a couple of nice Snaggletooth parasymphyseal teeth. I blame Skye.
A Chesapectan scallop shell, still firmly stuck in the clay boulder that recently fell off the cliff. Still there for the taking.
Moss growing on a place where water drips down the cliff.
