Well, it's finally warmed up enough here to think about going for a walk on the beach. On the way I stopped to check out the solidity of the ice in the harbor for a friend who wants to bring his boat in for the big fish season a "Location X". Thick enough to bounce a big rock off of.
And yet, a couple of boats have been out and in. I guess if you don't care too much what happens to your gel coat. Not for me.
It was a pretty decent low tide, though we caught it well into the upswing. In the shelter of the cliffs, there's still a lot of ice and snow hanging on
We did rather well for fossils today, 54 shark's teeth, a ray plate chevron, a drum's tooth, and one pretty decent shark vertebrate.
