One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.

Body Image in the Photoshop Era
OK, the Okapi neck thing was a bit much, and the eyes. When I look at that critically, it just doesn't look right. When they got done, it all looked a little like a plastic doll; a very good plastic doll at that.
But to have a vote on whether to "allow" advertisers to make such changes is just absurd; lack of reality has been a feature of advertizing since the first cave girl smeared berry juice under her eyes and reinforced the boobs in her furs with some rabbit skins to try to attract Alley Oop.
Meanwhile, another company tries to see if it can actually sell women clothes with models that look like them:
Good luck with that; women are seeking an advantage when they look at clothes; they don't want to look better than the competition, they want to look better. Seeing the clothes on a stretched and smoothed supermodel gives her the illusion that they can do the same for her.
