One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.

The Swans are back!
Actually, they were back last weekend, but my only photo was very long distance and badly distorted. These are Tundra Swans, the native swan, not the the european Mute Swan, which is also present around here, and considered a nuisance. A small flock of tundra swans always seems to winter behind the sand bar to the north of us. As usual, click to embiggen.
More after the the jump:
Georgia went Christmas shopping so it was only Skye and I to walk. We had the beach virtually to ourselves, I think we passed one other shark's tooth hunter this morning. Speaking of sharks teeth, it wasn't a particularly good morning, but I did find one nice Hemipristis (Snaggle Tooth) lower tooth, and a couple of Tiger (Galeocerdo) sharks teeth:
The eagles were there; one left the perch as I approached, the other stayed behind and gave us the evil eye:
As we were getting ready to leave, we saw this freighter headed out light... That has to be expensive:
Last, but not least, how about a little tongue?
