Ebony Jewelwing Damselfly. There are a bunch of them near the stream on the way down.
We had high 70s to low 80s at the beach, with mostly sunny skies, not a lot of
wind, and a low tide that was none too low
Despite the tide, we had a pretty good day for fossils. Here are the two best teeth, a lower (left) and upper (right)

and this thing, that may or may not be a
whale ear bone (bulla). I have the question out to the experts on Facebook.
