Beach Report 6/14/21

On the way down to the beach, Skye (reluctantly) allowed me to take a picture of this male Ebony Jewelwing Damselfly. There are a bunch of them near the stream on the way down.

We had high 70s to low 80s at the beach, with mostly sunny skies, not a lot of wind, and a low tide that was none too low
Despite the tide, we had a pretty good day for fossils. Here are the two best teeth, a lower (left) and upper (right) Snaggletooths among 20 other teeth. Georgia had a banner day on Tilly Bones with 3 . . .



and this thing, that may or may not be a whale ear bone (bulla). I have the question out to the experts on Facebook.
