6/8/20 Beach Report

We headed down to the Bay before lunch today to hit the lowest tide. 73, somewhat breezy from the north, but clear and cloudless.
I found this Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly puddling well up the beach, the first I've seen this year.
Although shark's toothing was poor, Georgia did find one in the little stream.

Another beach butterfly, a plain old vanilla Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, not a first for the year.
