Death on the Beach

Cindy talks to the woman from DNR
Something rare on the beach today; a dead sea turtle, a large Loggerhead, if what I overheard from the DNR folk who responded to someone's call.  After measuring it (41 inch shell), and perhaps taking samples, they disposed of it somehow. I can't believe the two of them (a guy not pictured) managed to carry it out for study
Some other photos from today. We had strong north winds, typical after storms yesterday, which also brought nice 75 F temperatures, and low humidity.
I had to buy a new phone, and these are the first beach pictures I've used it on. Definitely different than my old phone; it seems much more saturated or something.
