The Counting of the Two Year Jar

Time to total up and clean up the fossil collection that's accumulated in the kitchen. 2016 and the start of 2017 were poor year various reasons, but eventually we got back into the habit of nearly daily beach walks, and they started to pile up in good numbers again. Here's the collection, most in the jar, and some of the better teeth in front:

The count is probably not quite accurate, but we totaled some 2,008 sharks teeth alone, which weighed 1,005 g (or 2 lb 3 oz), some crocodile teeth, a small heap of drum's teeth, and a fair number of more or less complete stingray mouth plates. Still looking for that monster Megalodon.
