5 Ways to Pretend to be a Scientist Without All the Hard Work

The EPA Chesapeake Bay program offers Five ways to be a citizen scientist
Record birds . . .
Find underwater grasses . . .
Identify benthic organisms . . .
Monitor water quality . . .
Spot dolphins . . .
Not that there is anything wrong with any of the activities above. I do quite a bit  of these (not working too hard on the benthic organisms though, but the idea that this makes you "citizen scientists" is mildly nauseating after spending years of hard work becoming the real thing.
