A Rat Squeels at Clinton.com

The big news in the email scandal is that the FBI has granted immunity from prosecution to Brian Pagliano, the former Clinton campaign worker who set up the email server for the Clinton Foundation at the Chappaqua basement, and who followed his mistress to the State Dept., where he continued to care for her "special" email system:
The Justice Department has granted immunity to a former State Department staffer, who worked on Hillary Clinton’s private email server, as part of a criminal investigation into the possible mishandling of classified information, according to a senior law enforcement official.

The official said the FBI had secured the cooperation of Bryan Pagliano, who worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign before setting up the server in her New York home in 2009.
Brian took the 5th when Congress demanded his testimony.  While no Grand Jury appears to have been called, Judge Napolitano is on TV right now saying that if the FBI is offering immunity, it's highly likely a Grand Jury is already to hear testimony. FBI immunity is generally a baited perjury trap; if the person granted immunity can be shown to lie, the immunity is lost, and his testimony can be used against him.  This could be fun.

The State Dept released Pagliano's employment records, and the results are enlightening to say the least:
As a Schedule C employee, Pagliano was vetted by State’s Office of White House Liaison, where longtime Clinton insider Heather Samuelson held a top position.
. . .
The tech worker’s personnel file provides few other clues about his hiring or his role as Clinton’s email server maintenance man. The document shows that he was hired as a GS-15, which has been reported. His starting salary was $132,914.

At some point after his hire, Pagliano transitioned from deputy CIO to special adviser, according to the 2012 Plum Book, which lists all top federal government officials in office after each presidential election.
Sweet gig, but I think the lawyers fees are going to nibble most of that away, unless Clinton.com comes to his rescue. It is generally thought that in the near future the FBI will want to interview Ms. Clinton and some of her close aides. I wonder if they will try to demand immunity too?

So what's the worst that could have happened? Hillary Emails Betrayed Whereabouts of Murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens
The email in question was written Sunday, April 10, 2011 by State employee Timmy Davis and sent to the State email addresses of other employees, including Clinton’s then-foreign policy aide, Jacob Sullivan and Clinton’s senior aide.

Abedin forwarded the message to Clinton. At the time, Stevens was the U.S. envoy to the Libyan rebels. The dispatch read:
The situation in Ajdabiyah has worsened to the point where Stevens is considering departure from Benghazi. The envoy’s delegation is currently doing a phased checkout (paying the hotel bills, moving some comms to the boat, etc). He will monitor the situation to see if it deteriorates further, but no decision has been made on departure. He will wait 2-3 more hours, then revisit the decision on departure.
The email is one of several giving away Stevens’ location and movements.
The date is well before 9/11/2011, but you wonder if the would reveal one that was on, say 9/8. Reason #1 you don't want your Secretary of State communicating by unsecured email.

Change.org is circulating a petition to have Bill Clinton charged with election law violations for his visits to polling places in Massachusetts on Super Tuesday:
This is a call for the immediate arrest of President Bill Clinton for clear, knowing and egregious violation of the campaign laws to swing an election in a significant way. It could not be any clearer in the Massachusetts General Laws. "Campaigning within 150 feet of a polling station, or in any way interfering with the right to vote". Choosing the critical battleground state of Massachusetts, Bill Clinton should immediately be subject to arrest and prosecution. Bill Clinton was not only electioneering within the boundary. Although the spokesperson for Bill Clinton denies that he was ever inside a polling place, photos and video show him clearly greeting and talking up election workers inside.

After being told to refrain from this activity, which is a 3rd degree Voter Violation Felony, for which Clinton indeed must have known the law and chose to violate it, Bill Clinton does not vote in Massachusetts, and would have no other business in a polling station on election day besides campaigning for his wife.
Yep. The petition has 89,000 signatures so far. A similar petition is being floated at the Federal site, https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/investigate-violations-massachusetts-voting-laws-conducted-bill-clinton-march-1-2016. God knows you can't shame the Clintons.

But, despite all her wins on Super Tuesday, things are not going swimmingly for the Clinton junta: Beneath Hillary Clinton’s Super Tuesday Wins, Signs of Turnout Trouble.
Democratic turnout has fallen drastically since 2008, the last time the party had a contested primary, with roughly three million fewer Democrats voting in the 15 states that have held caucuses or primaries through Tuesday, according to unofficial election results tallied through Wednesday afternoon.
It might take 120% turnout in key districts to make up the difference. One problem is that Bernie Bros are unlikely to turnout for her in big numbers: ‘Bernie or Bust’: Clinton can’t count on Sanders’ supporters in November.
More than 50,000 people already have signed up at the Revolt Against Plutocracy, pledging to vote for the Green Party candidate in the general election or write in Mr. Sanders’ name if Mrs. Clinton wins the Democratic nomination. Other groups, such as Grassroots Action for Bernie, are taking to social media, using Facebook and Twitter to try to get the “Bernieorbust” hashtag trending.
But for Democrat politicians, there's more at stake:  Gabbard: People warned me against endorsing Sanders
The Hawaii Democrat was speaking to MSNBC Tuesday night when host Brian Williams asked her about splitting with many in her party in her endorsement.

“Congresswoman, I know that as an Iraq war veteran, you don’t scare easily, but you obviously have gamed out what happens if by splitting with the Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Hillary Clinton, DNC, and let’s say Sen. Sanders is not successful, how unpleasant life can become for a Democrat in the house under a president Clinton?” Williams asked.
Hillary to BLM supporter protesting her "super predator" comments at one of her talks. "Why don't you go run for something then."

The Washington Post is worried that Clinton, Trump victories foreshadow a nasty, contentious fall campaign. Being the Post, they're chiefly worried about it being nasty and contentious for Ms. Clinton. Strangest contest set to become reality as battle of sexes looms

Ted Cruz pointedly Mocked Stephanopoulos: Hillary Clinton Is ‘Your Former Boss’. Every Republican candidate should do this every time they appear on his show, or any other journolist who formerly had a position in a democrat administration (and there are a bunch of them). Keep reminding them. Disney responded with the usual platitudes about objectivity. Disney CEO Bob Iger Defends ABC News Over Accusations of Liberal Bias
"I assure you, if we felt George was not presenting it fairly or were bias, he would not be on our air," Iger said of George Stephanopoulos. "It's something we take very, very seriously, and we monitor closely."
