Sunday Beach Report 5/17/15

A very summery day at the beach. Temperatures reached near 90, the humidity is well into "sticky" if not yet "oppressive". We had 1 inch of rain overnight and into morning, and some continued clouds. The beach was pretty well used this afternoon.
 Someone's about to get dunked.

But it's OK as long as the lime soda doesn't get spilled.
There's always Bay football to keep one moving.
Some of those clouds lurking over the Delmarva.
On the way off the beach I spotted this male Black Swallowtail in the milkweeds in the dunes. I only see a few of this each year, and this is by far the earliest I've seen one.
