Authorities are issuing a warning after fire rescue officials say a Siberian husky was recently killed by a python at a Miami home.That's a pretty impressive snake to be wandering around loose in residential neighborhood. And that dog screwed up bad to be caught by it.
The incident happened about 10 p.m. on Aug. 30 at a home in the 3000 block of Southwest 147th Place.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said investigators saw a large python, identified as a Northern African python, wrapped around the neck of the Siberian husky. A captain then arrived at the house and detained the animal.
Now those escaped nonnative species have gone too far!
the snake needs to be killed now. i love animals but there is a place and a time for everything and residential areas are not a place for a snake this large when idiots like the owner of this one can't keep a watchful eye on it.
