Winter, Bitterly Clinging At the Beach

At 10 AM this morning, it was still only 35 F here, the wind was blowing 20 mph from the north, but the sky was cloudless and absolutely as clear as it gets.  The tide was well on it's way out, in addition to being a "blow-out" due to the north winds.
Despite a rough week, Skye was more than anxious to get there and run around.
There are some signs of spring.  One of the tree's overlooking the beach is getting all budded out.
I caught a glimpse of a big bird landing out on the sandbar up north, and I was pretty sure it was an eagle.  With the max zoom on the camera, (which makes for a pretty grainy picture),  we can see that it is, indeed an eagle, but not one of the adults we see regularly, since it's still in juvenile plumage.  A visitor passing through, or one of the last couple of year's hatch?  I don't know.
The Tundra Swans are still here too.  Again, a very grainy shot with the maximum zoom.  With the naked eye, I couldn't see for sure that they were the swans.
