Sun Came Out at the Beach

When we left for the beach this morning the  was overcast, the temperature about 50 and the wind all but non existent.
A very high tide forced us to walk the streets around the narrow part of Calvert Beach, so I took a few fall color photos.  This is a nice Japanese Maple
Some lovely Poison Ivy (Toxicodendron radicans) turning gold and red.  It's a very common vine here, and you need to watch where you go in the woods.  It's still not as bad as the Poison Oak (Toxicodendron diversilobum) was in Oregon though, which used to turn the hillsides red.
Once we got around corner and back to the streets, the sky started to clear from the north.  Much better for taking pictures!
 Now look at this maple!
A piece of recycled beach trash, being used as a trash receptacle.  Note where it came from...

Some tall Tulip Poplars (Liriodendron tulipifera) in their gold.  Already many of their leaves have fallen.

A look back at the beach with the sun out.  Much nicer!
