Beach Report, Monday, Aug. 5, 2011

Someone left this sandcastle, and the large quarry it came from.  Today's bonus beach walk was much the same as yesterday.  Mostly sunny, a bit warm, a bit humid.

The Bay was smooth, only a few ripples and boat wakes.

 The usual crowd was out. Some were getting exercise by jogging....
















some were getting exercise by rowing or paddling (I'm not quite sure what's happening here, beer smuggling seems likely, but I can't imagine why)...




...some of us were out getting exercise with the dogs...

 ...some were out getting exercise by casting...

...and some were getting exercise just flying around.
