New Day, New Beach

After a grueling day of travel, Georgia and I made to Pismo Beach by about 6 PM PDT.  Here's a picture of the classic rock that sits between the two sides of Highway 101, as seen from the parking lot of our motel/resort.
A view from the back porch, looking south towards the rest of Pismo Beach.  The resort is on the cliffs, 110 steps above the beach.

Looking off the cliff to the beach.
A mass of Sooty Shearwaters, Brown Pelicans and a few different seagulls dive bombing a school of fish just off shore of the cliffs

My brother Mark, his wife Brigitte, Georgia and I went into town to buy ribs and chickens for the masses (13 to feed), and after a family dinner on the back deck, we talked until way past dark.
