Saving Valentina, the Humpbacked Whale

Normally, I'm not much of whale hugger.  Whales are nice enough, and I think they should be protected for the same reason oysters in Chesapeake Bay need to be protected; they are far below their level of maximum sustainable yield.  If they were really as smart and moral as us, they'd carry out a secret campaign to kill us and keep us off the sea whenever possible.  Maybe they are, and they're smart enough to pull it off...
